Introduction
The service is to be configured as Private Virtual Circuit (PVC) with various
optional Committed Information Rate (CIR).
This proposal addresses customer’s requirements and provides directly delivered PVC from customer’s premises in Iran to the North American and European Internet backbone. This will provide dedicated bandwidth and direct connection to the Internet at the MAE Amsterdam Backbone, using diverse connections to Tier One Internet Service Provider’s (ISP) and OMIDAN Network's World cast infrastructure.
Proposed Solution
This proposal provides a Zero VAST solution, where customer will be responsible for local licenses, the provision, installation and maintenance of the VAST equipment.
The service is fully managed and includes:
Internet port
Up-link facilities in the US, London and Amsterdam
Space segment
Network management
The service will be transmitted using OMIDAN Network's DVB infrastructure and received using a SCUP circuit. In the USA the service will be received at OMIDAN Network's Teleports Amsterdam which are connected to KPN-QWEST Pops Amsterdam using the World cast infrastructure, using a redundant hardware configuration to improve reliability and availability. OMIDAN Network's Pop Amsterdam located on an OC12 fiber ring which interconnects the major Internet and telecommunications company in the region. OMIDAN NETWORK has the required infrastructure, which can be used not only to provide the required service, but can also provide other optional services required by the customer.
